Jason Carvalho CFA, CAIA

Jason Carvalho is a Senior Capability Specialist, Fixed Income, within the Canadian Institutional Distribution team. In his role, he works closely with the fixed income portfolio management teams across the Fiera Capital platform. He supports the effective development, communication and positioning of fixed income investment strategies and solutions with clients, prospects and consultants. Jason is also a member of the Global ESG Committee that collectively sets the firm’s strategic objectives related to sustainable investing initiatives.

Jason has more than 15 years of financial industry experience. Prior to joining Fiera Capital, Jason worked for both a major Canadian and global investment management firm where he was responsible for helping to develop fixed income and multi-asset solutions for a broad spectrum of Canadian institutional clients. He was also responsible for servicing fixed income clients with focused discussions on market outlook, portfolio positioning and performance. Jason has also previously held roles in investment risk management and portfolio management operations. 

Jason has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Ryerson University with a major in Finance. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
